Frederik van Beuningen is an economist and descendant of the entrepreneurial family that was at the cradle of the Steenkolen Handelsvereniging (SHV). After working as a controller in the transport sector for eight years, he worked for six years on the board of a private equity firm. In 1991, he founded Teslin Capital Management. He was a member of the Tabaksblat Committee that drew up the Dutch corporate governance code and is a member of the Supervisory Board of several companies.
