Anders Invest invests in Genap

Anders Invest has acquired a 49% stake in Genap, based in ’s-Heerenberg. Genap delivers custom-made liner and water storage systems for horticulture, agriculture and civil engineering and infrastructure (GWW). The company generates annual revenue of approximately €25 million and employs over 100 people.

For decades, Genap has been a leading player in the field of water and liquid storage. From its headquarters and main production facility in ’s-Heerenberg, and its second production location in Steenwijk, the company develops high-quality liner solutions used worldwide. These range from water silos and basins for greenhouse horticulture to sealing solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects and manure storage systems in the agricultural sector.

Genap’s strength lies in the combination of in-house material processing, craftsmanship and deep technical expertise. Plastics such as HDPE and LLDPE are processed internally and extensively tested in the laboratory, where R&D and certified welding processes ensure consistent and verifiable quality. Within the civil engineering and infrastructure sector, Genap works on major projects, from roads and tunnels to the sealing of landfills. The company installs large areas of waterproof geomembranes, sometimes more than 100,000 m² per project. Genap particularly distinguishes itself through a capability mastered by only a few parties: the skilled installation of these waterproof layers in wet conditions.

Genap supplies and installs its systems worldwide, supported by a network of its own locations and partners. For the international horticulture market, the company has local production and installation capabilities in, among others, Canada and Mexico. This keeps lead times short and enables projects in those regions to be managed directly and efficiently. In the agricultural sector, Genap has been providing reliable manure storage systems for decades. These solutions align with increasingly stringent regulations and play an important role in reducing odor and CO2 emissions.

Dick van Regteren will remain in place as CEO and shareholder. With Anders Invest’s participation, Genap will focus on further professionalizing the organization, expanding international production capacity, and continuing to develop solutions for water and manure storage and liner systems for the civil engineering and infrastructure sector.

Bos acquires ConnectinQ BOS Woodworking Factory Solutions has acquired ConnectinQ Software and ConnectinQ, two companies based in Harlingen specializing in software solutions and engineering for prefabricated timber frame construction, respectively. With this acquisition, BOS expands its offering from machinery to the software that controls the entire production process, as well as the underlying engineering expertise. ConnectinQ Software develops software for prefabricated timber frame construction. The Produuz.it platform provides digital control for the factories and connects BIM models, work preparation, production, and the shop floor in a single environment. This ensures that the entire process from BIM drawing to production-ready control of CNC machines is completely paperless. Additionally, ConnectinQ Software is working on Prefabmatrix, a new development that enables automated calculations, schedule creation, order management, post-calculation, and financial administration based on IFC models. ConnectinQ is a drafting firm with extensive engineering knowledge of timber frame construction. With the combination of knowledge of the machines, the product, and its development, BOS expects to be able to support its customers even better in the future. The acquisition aligns with BOS's strategy to offer customers total solutions rather than individual components. While BOS has been supplying the machines customers use for production for years through Bos Machines and H&M Machines, ConnectinQ adds the software that controls that process. This allows the group to support the entire chain from drawing to production. ConnectinQ and H&M Machines are already collaborating on several projects. "We see in practice that together we can mean more to customers, and customers are enthusiastic about that," says Teus Jan de Jong, CEO of the BOS Group. "This acquisition is the logical next step. We all believe in the long term, and that is also evident in how we have structured things." With the acquisition, the group's shareholder structure has been adjusted. In addition to strategic partner Anders Invest, Tom Eijkenaar (Managing Director of ConnectinQ), Jan Willem Dijkstra (Managing Director of H&M Machines), and Teus Jan de Jong (CEO of the BOS Group) are acquiring a stake in the group. With this, BOS ensures strategic cohesion and long-term commitment. Founder Tom Eijkenaar will remain associated with ConnectinQ and continue to expand the company within the group. About ConnectinQ Based in Harlingen, ConnectinQ develops custom software for prefabricated timber frame construction. A defining characteristic of the company is that the team masters both IT and woodworking, a combination rare in the sector. The Prefabmatrix product links design, work preparation, production, and administration in a single environment. About BOS Woodworking Factory Solutions BOS Woodworking Factory Solutions supplies machines and solutions for the woodworking industry, with Bos Machines and H&M Machines as parts of the group. With the acquisition of ConnectinQ, BOS expands its offering to include software for the entire production process.
