The Food & Agri fund of Anders Invest has acquired a controlling interest in Prograin Group (PG). PG is a Moldovan enterprise, active in sourcing, processing and selling organic seeds, cereals and legumes.

The product intake takes place at two locations in Moldova, Floresti and Giurgiulesti. There the products are processed and made ready for sale, after which they are transported to Bulgaria, Israel, Ukraine and The Netherlands. The company’s head office is situated in the capital Chisinau. The enterprise was established in 2015 by the current CEO mr. Spartac Chilat and now has transformed over 6000 ha from conventional to organic agriculture, in partnership with regional farmers. The objective is to increase the organic arsenal with 20% each year, for the coming 10 years. The transition from conventional land to organic land takes three years and is therefore capital intensive.
