Anders Invest's Food & Agri Fund acquired a majority stake in Hillco Poeliersbedrijf B.V. on May 8, 2024. Hillco is a Dutch family-owned business that has specialized in chicken products for the Dutch, Belgian, and German food service markets for over 40 years.

Hillco began in 1982 in Ederveen with a small shop and production facility for chicken products. Today, Hillco offers a wide range of products sold under the Family Chicken brand, primarily to restaurants and fast-food chains, ethnic supermarkets, caterers, and gas stations. Additionally, Hillco aims to expand its own brand, “Smikkelkip,” which offers premium consumer products with high convenience, in the coming years. Anders Invest facilitated the succession of the three Van den Brink brothers to the new management team consisting of Dinand Heijkamp and Jaap Randewijk. After the transaction, the management retains a 20% stake in the company.
