Jan-Dirk (1970) is a business economist (Erasmus University). Jan-Dirk started his career at Baan Company, where within a few years he was responsible for a number of large automotive accounts such as Toyota and Mercedes-Benz. He then worked for the Vanenburg Group for about 8 years, where he was responsible for managing and expanding the investment portfolio. In the years that followed, Jan-Dirk was director of an IT company that is active in the food retail sector. As CFO of the Ubbink Group (turnover approx. 140 mio), he has supervised several reorganisations and has been responsible for major progress in the group's financial functions and its IT systems. Jan-Dirk has held various board positions (including chairman) for many years at NGOs that are active in Africa, at various bodies of the PKN and is a board member of the Obadja council. From 2018 to 2022, Jan-Dirk was CEO of Lagersmit on behalf of Anders Invest.
