Anders Invest has a 69% interest in Aldowa, located in Rotterdam. The company designs, produces and installs metal cladding for high-profile buildings.

Aldowa is market leader in the Netherlands in the field of engineering, production and assembly of metal and composite cladding. The company, with approximately 55 FTE, has participated in high-profile landmarks such as the Market Hall and Central Station in Rotterdam, The Calvin Klein head office and the New Atrium in Amsterdam, and NVLU and Central Station in Utrecht. Aldowa supplies its expertise to many large Dutch contractors and project developers. The company increasingly inspires architects with ingenious and innovative cladding, so that Aldowa is increasingly involved in projects as an expert in the design phase. Aldowa has a complete machine park in Rotterdam to produce any desired shape and color. The company also produces composite cladding with sister company Aldowa Composites in Breda.

The shares were bought from Jan Boom and Allard Droste. The latter holds a minority interest. Given the age of Jan Boom, the upcoming investments and the strong growth ambitions, this is a logical step. Seated shareholder Alwin Versluis is expanding his interest and will continue to manage the company together with Jan Boom.

The company has been growing fast for years, also during the construction crisis, due to a very customer-oriented attitude and the trend towards interesting facade architecture. The increasing demands on circular construction and energy consumption offer the 40-year-old company sufficient opportunities for further (international) growth. Aldowa is characterized by a strong self-managing organization (known from the book "Semco in the polder") with a lot of responsibility for the employees, ideas that are very well in line with the principles of Anders Invest. Anders Invest intends to apply some of these 'best practices' to its other participating interests.
