Special machines for the wood industry
Anders Invest has a 100% interest in Bos Machines BV in Vianen. The company is very successful in developing, assembling and selling computer-controlled woodworking machines for the window frame industry. With approximately 30 employees and a profitable turnover of 10 million, Bos Machines BV is the market leader in its segment.
Bos Machines started in 1985 as a distributor of woodworking machines and introduced its own BMH brand in 1990, which has since grown into the only Dutch A-brand. In 2009 the Windowmaster was introduced, the first complete computer-controlled machining center. In the years after 2009, the company grew strongly, also in Belgium, and the product portfolio was expanded with innovations such as a gluing robot, automatic retention benches and RFID chips per frame element. This enables Bos to equip a complete frame factory with fully automated 24-hour production. An example of the close customer relationships can be seen in the following video.
Anders Invest sees growth potential in service, internationalization and adjacent machine types. Theo van Stuijvenberg takes up the position of general manager and Gerald van Kooten becomes investment manager. It has been agreed with Maarten Bos that he will remain affiliated with the company for some time.
