Anders Invest has a 100% interest in Leerdam Crisal Glass, based in Leerdam. The company produces table glass for the European market from production locations in the Netherlands and Portugal (Crisal).

The almost 150-year-old Royal Leerdam merged in 2005 with Crisal Cristalaria Automática from Portugal, founded in 1944, and has since grown into a top 5 player in the European market in the field of table glass. The company with headquarters in Leerdam operates from the production sites in Leerdam and Marinha Grande in Portugal. The distribution centre is located in Gorinchem. Royal Leerdam and Crisal form together Leerdam Crisal Glass.

Leerdam Crisal Glass serves customers in the retail, wholesale and hospitality sectors with their own brands and under private label. The Royal Leerdam brand is for sale at all major retailers in Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and South Africa. In the Netherlands are well-known outlets Blokker, Action, Sligro, Hanos and Makro. The group has a turnover of approximately € 120 million and employs more than 600 people in the Netherlands and Portugal.

Anders Invest aims to make Leerdam Crisal Glass the sustainability leader of its industry in the coming years. The glass factory in the Netherlands is already equipped with the most energy-efficient ovens in the industry. In the coming years, the location in Portugal will also be equipped with similarly efficient ovens.
